Hello to our five fans, did you miss us? We missed you! TIWWCHNT #6 is up! We mark our triumphant return to the podcast by sharing our immediate thoughts after see The Conjuring. Our resident skeptic, Stephen Mack, returns to keep the discussion moving. Overall we all enjoyed the film and can’t wait to hear what others think.
Warning: This episode is spoiler heavy so if you have not seen the film and plan to, you may wanna wait on listening.
So, in case you’re wondering where we have been the past few weeks.
Baby Nyce is due November 11, 2013. Mom has hyperemesis so when she is not vomiting, she is napping and vice versa. However, we are hoping to get back to our podcasting as soon as she feels up to it. Thanks to our fans. We apologize for keeping you waiting!
This week we, along with our special guest Steven discuss Werewolf movies as well as the standard battery of questions. You can find the latest here. Thanks for listening. Will update later with links to movies discussed.

This week we are joined by our great friend, Jason Puckett, and have an otherworldly discussion of Lovecraftian horror and the films inspired by Lovecraft’s work. Mary tries not to lose her mind when Jason tells her clowns are not scary and Scott and Jason nerd out about their mutual love of HP Lovecraft.
Also, Mary apologizes profusely to Tom Atkins for calling him the complete wrong name. He can Thrill Her any time!
Topics Discussed This Week:
In the Mouth of Madness
The Dunwich Horror
The Call of Cthulhu (2005)
The Dunwich Horror (2009)
This is Why We Can’t Have Nyce Things #3 (via podbean)
This week our good friend, Stephen Mack is joining us on the podcast and boy are y’all in for a treat. This discussion was pretty epic in scope and in duration (clocking in at just under 2 hours).
Hear about what scares us, what makes us laugh, what is irrational and what is a valid concern. We also have a long discussion about the great film, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. And of course Disney and Octaman.
And yes, we realize we mentioned Dark Skies about 12 times and never really got to it. We promise to discuss it next week.
Links to come.
I’m just gonna throw this one out there before we record the podcast on Saturday: dolls. I hate dolls. HATE. HATE. HATE. As in, I believe they are the tool of Satan and are nothing but pure evil. Why? I have no idea. It may be their dead eyes and how it always seems like the eyes are following you. I don’t know. All I know is that they are creepy as fuck.
Also, clowns. Nuff said.

This week we will discuss things that scare us. Everyone has at least one irrational fear, right? What creeps you out? What raises the hairs on the back of your neck? What are you afraid of?

(And yes, we do believe that there are lots of great endings in movies.)
